We’d like to follow up a bit on the emails we’ve received in response to our evaluation.
In addition to a lot of kind words about the event, there have also been a few questions that we’d like to answer here. Others may be wondering the same thing.
Question: If you’ve picked up your boat on Sunday before the awards ceremony, is there a place closer than the trailer parking lot where you can park?
Answer: No, unfortunately not. The area is densely built-up all the way down to the harbor, so we can’t find a spot closer to the harbor.
Question: Could we offer prizes to the top 15 instead of the raffle prizes, so it doesn’t take so long?
Answer: We have also decided to hold a drawing to distribute some of the prizes among as many winners as possible. As a general rule, we will stick with this model, as we have received quite a few positive comments about it.
Question: I don’t see that I’ve received a 100 kr. refund for the deposit on the token?
Answer: If you don’t want to “exchange” your deposit for an entry in the drawing, you must request a refund (since the vast majority of people want to participate in the drawing). We may not have made this clear enough—we’ll make sure to state it more clearly in the future.
Question: Could you list the total prize amount for each prize on the prize table?
Answer: Yes, we can
Question: Could T-shirts featuring the Makrel Master logo be sold?
Answer: We’ve received several inquiries about that over the weekend as well, so we’ll work on including it next year
