Makrel Master 2026 was yet another weekend full of excitement both on the water and at the marina. Fifty-three boat teams participated in this year’s competition, and with bright sunshine and beautiful summer weather on both days, the stage was set for a truly great weekend.
Out on the water, people were competing for the big mackerel, and on land, things were bustling with activity. Everyone enjoyed themselves between weigh-ins, and the booths were busy. The kids’ crab fishing and Saturday’s harbor treasure hunt were a huge hit with the youngest visitors at the harbor.
Makrel Master isn’t just about the competition—it’s just as much about the atmosphere, the sense of community, and life at the harbor.
